With any article
many factors contribute to the finished product.
One of these is the availability of wood. I use
wood which is native to New Zealand : Rimu;
Matai; Walnut and Yew.
The finish is also extremely
important as it should enhance the woods' natural
beauty.
These things and my love of turning
is what I work on.
It is an on-going challenge, always
striving for that perfect piece. Some have gone
flying out of the workshop with a few words
muttered under my breath!
